Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide a yoga mat for your students?

No- you are responsible for bringing your own yoga mat to class.

How long do classes last and what will it include?

Classes last 60 minutes and will always include at least one meditation, a pranayama (breathing), asana (postures) practice, and savasana (relaxation).

Can I still practice yoga if I am not flexible?

100% yes! It is a misconception that you can only practice yoga if you are flexible. I welcome every level of experience to my class.

How often should I practice yoga?

It really depends on you. Personally, I think it is beneficial to practice a little every day. Sometimes that might look like an intense, powerful, 60-minute vinyasa flow, and other days it might be connecting with the breath on the mat. Let go of what you think your practice should look like. Follow your intuition and take what you need in the moment. Live mindfully. Keep your ego off the mat. Find peace and freedom in your practice.

Should I practice on an empty stomach?

It is not recommended to practice on a full stomach, as ideally it is best for your body to rest and digest after a meal. Try eating a couple of hours before you practice or having a little snack (nuts, fruit etc) an hour or so before.
